The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students of the Holmes County Career and Technical Center planned and executed their Spring Community Service Project. The FBLA students, under the direction of their advisor, Ms. Aleen N. Benson conducted a Spring School Supply Drive for a 3rd grade class at William Dean, Jr. Elementary. On Tuesday, April 2nd, the FBLA students and Ms. Benson made a special delivery to Ms. Felton’s 3rd graders of notebooks, coloring pencils, index cards, paper and pencils. During their visit, the Career Tech Business class/FBLA students introduced themselves, encouraged the 3rd graders to do well on the upcoming exams, held a Q and A and shared test-taking tips. After the Business class/FBLA students complete their own MS-CPAS3 exam, they plan to work with the 3rd graders more and serve as Big Sisters/Big Brothers as they continue to model their FBLA motto: Service, Education and Progress.
