The STEM classes of Holmes County Central High School participated in an interactive hands-on robotic workshop. The workshop was organized by the Holmes County Career and Technical Center through Alcorn State University’s Advanced Technologies Department.
In Holmes County STEM classes, teachers Delouise Randle and William Washington seek resources to continuously engage students while also meeting today’s rigorous academic standards. During this workshop, students were engaged in engineering processes, including schematic readings, planning, team/group work, following design plans, critical thinking and accurately interpreting instructions.
Ms. Hathorn, Career Center Director and Dr. Adrienne Griffin, Central High School Principal are very thankful to Mr. Randy Derby and Alcorn State University’s Advanced Technologies Department for conducting this two day workshop for the Central High STEM classes.
