The Holmes County Career and Technical Center Announces its 2018-2019 Nontraditional Students of the Year.
CTE nontraditional students are those students who are enrolled in Career Tech Programs and/or Career Fields that are represented by less than 25% of one gender employed in that particular career field. As nontraditional students enrolled in their respective CTE programs at the Career Tech Center, these students were recommended by their instructors due to their high performance, ability to work well with others, embrace challenges and overall content area mastery.
The Career Tech Staff encourages students to look at various career paths and accept the challenge to be different and embrace the opportunity to break the gender barrier. Often, there are scholarships available for nontraditional students as well as hiring incentives provided by employers. To learn more about Career Tech Programs that best match your career interests, please contact Ms. Archer (counselor) or any Career Tech Staff member at 662-834-3052.
