The Holmes County Consolidated School District (HCCSD) cordially invites its parents, community citizens and partners to a special reveal: The district will possibly have triplets—three new schools, that is!
It’s That Time!
Come to the monthly Board of Education (BOE) meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2019, in the Educational Support Center Board Room, located at 313 Olive Street, Lexington, MS, to witness The Big Reveal from three architectural firms that will present their individual, detailed proposals to build our new school(s).
Also, during the school board meeting, Superintendent of Schools James L. Henderson, Ed.D. will recommend the BOE consider asking the County Board of Supervisors to move the school bond referendum vote from the August 6th primary election to the November 5th general election.
“A vote YES to the proposed school bond will mean so many more educational opportunities for our children, teachers, and citizens of Holmes County,” said Henderson. “That is why we encourage everyone to come out Thursday night and be a part of history in the making: the newly developed Holmes County Consolidated School District’s makeover.”
