Ronald Roundtree


Hello. My name is Ronald Roundtree. I teach 7th-8th grade Physical Education at S.V. Marshall. I was born in Lexington, MS but raised in the neighboring town of Durant. I attended K-12 at Durant High School where I participating in several athletic events. Most notably, football and track. In route to becoming one of the best defensive football players in the state, I earned the covenant Thad Edwards "Bo" Robinson Award, an annual award given to the best senior football player for our school in memory of head coach Homer D. "Cotton" Robertson's son who sadly passed away at age 23. Also as a senior, I earned the silver medal in the state finals in the shot put for track. I received numerous division one and two scholarship offers but ultimately settling for Northwestern Oklahoma State University. I later transferred to Jackson State where earned a bachelor's degree in Physical Education. Recently, I obtained a Master's in Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of Mississippi.
