WE ARE A SUCCESSFUL SCHOOL!
We are located in the town of Durant, MS. We serve 320 students in grades Pre-K through Fifth Grade. Based on the results of the 2023 MAAP assessment- we scored a 367- which is a SUCCESSFUL status! We have a committed faculty, staff, and administrative team who leads with the best outcome for our scholars in mind. We know that successful students need a balance between academics and social development. Our students engage in our instructional programs along with physical education, music, computer lab, and they also go to the library to learn great things about reading. We also have the 2023-2023 Durant Elementary Chess Club. We have our After School Program where there are additional opportunities to participate in music and art coupled with quality after school instruction.
