Art Club is for students to have a free and open 21st century experience where they can come into contact with unfamiliar art forms as well as digital arts.
6th, 7th and 8th grade students may participate in Art Club. They do not have to be taking Art class to apply to Art Club. Anyone who is looking to express themselves as an artist is welcome to join the Tuesday and Thursday after-school meetings in the Art room.
Students will learn about and find a better understanding of the different types of art forms and works of art. They will learn how to create computer art and other art forms that peak their interest. Students will also have an opportunity to join competitions for scholarships and prizes, and take trips to museums to broaden their horizons.
All students are welcome to apply. Membership is based on interest, talent and behavior. There is a maximum Club size of 25 students.
