  • Building Strong Readers: Families as Partners

    The Office of Elementary Education and Reading, Division of Literacy will host a webinar for families of Kindergarten through 3rd grade students on December 1st and 10th. During this webinar, families will engage in activities and receive tips that can be used at home to help students improve their reading skills. In addition, this webinar will provide strategies that help students manage stress, build positive relationships, work with others, and make responsible decisions.

  • P16 Community Engagement Council Meeting

    The Holmes County Consolidated School District is looking for parents, students, and community members that are interested in selecting and/or becoming members of the HCCSD Community Engagement Council. If you are a member of any local community- based organization, parent/teacher association, student council, student government, community leader, or public official that is interested in public education issues, please join us for this special event! The P16 Council gives the community voice through policy recommendations to our school district in an effort to provide a great education system for ALL our children.
